It is recommended by the FDA for safety to use the below options for nasal irrigation.

· Boiled for 3-5 minutes (then cooled)

· Microfiltered to 0.2 microns

Can you share a NasalFresh MD device between family members?

Yes, the system is designed so that the “clean saline” from the upper tank and the “wastewater” from the lower tank remain separate, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination between users.

That said, the most hygienic practice is for everyone to use their own set of antimicrobial nose pillows.

What is the recommended temperature for nasal irrigation solution?

The hottest temperature you should use for your nasal irrigation solution should be lukewarm to the touch, not exceeding around 85°F - 90°F (29°C - 32°C); essentially, body temperature or slightly cooler.

What should I do if my unit suction isn’t working properly?

We ask that you run the AUTO clean with some HOT tap water to try and resolve the issue – either a bubble or clog in the line. See a video below showing this process.

Hold your finger over the top– so to build up the pressure to release the clog.

It should take 38-40 seconds for the water in the top tank to go to the lower waste tank.

How long should I charge my NasalFresh MD?

Charge your NasalFresh MD for a full charging cycle of 8 hours prior to your very first use after unboxing.

Plug your device for a minimum of 3 hours for subsequent charging cycles.

A red-light indicator is normal, and indicative of a new charging cycle. A green light indicates fully charged.

How can I avoid water going down my throat?

It is very important to breathe through your mouth while you are using the unit (very similar to a light pant) – also, see below videos:
